Marc Vera, CFP®

Marc joins TerraFirma Wealth Partners as Executive Vice President, Wealth Advisor, bringing 24 years of experience in finance and a genuine passion for helping people with their financial well-being.

Marc began his finance career in 2002 on a trading desk and made markets in both Nasdaq and NYSE securities. In 2010, he started working directly with retail clients at large national brokerage firms, where he spent years helping individuals and families with retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, investment planning, and more. Through the ups and downs of the market, Marc has helped clients stay focused on their long-term goals while avoiding the mistakes that can derail a strong financial plan.

Building meaningful relationships is what drives Marc. Seeing the results of that work, and the confidence and peace of mind it brings clients, is what he enjoys most about the job.

A native of Santa Rosa, Marc graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a varsity letterman in both football and rugby, and was a member of the Golden Bears’ 1998 national championship rugby team. Those years of competition shaped his belief in the team-based approach, which he brings to every client relationship.

Outside the office, you’ll find him spending time with his wife and three kids. If he’s not coaching or cheering his kids from the sideline, he enjoys hiking, mountain biking in Annadel State Park, and traveling.
